Sony PS3 Shows Advertisements When Turned On -- A Reason to Switch to XBOX360 or Wii

I payed $600 for a Sony PS3 like many other gamers.
Sony has released a 3.0 "system update"
which shows advertisements when the PS3 is turned on.

TV commercials, spam email, web banner-ads.
Now video-game-console ads.

Enough is enough.

The next console I will buy will a XBOX360 or Wii.

In the 1980s, I admired the company that Trip Hawkins founded.
They sold a video game as if it were a music record, with the programmer featured as a rock-star. That changed (for the worse) when EA become a public corporation.
